Fearghal joined Thema in April 2024 as a Health Outcomes Analyst to pursue his interest in health economics and outcomes research. Prior to this, he worked as a Health Technology Assessment Analyst on the public health team for the Health Information and Quality Authority in Ireland. His role centred around providing evidence to inform public health policy in Ireland. He contributed to various Health Technology Assessments and his experience covers COVID-19, long COVID, oncology, medical devices, and national public health strategies. During his time at university, he achieved a bachelor’s in Microbiology in addition to a Master’s in Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics from Queen’s University Belfast.
